It was titled ‘Energy Efficiency for Developing Countries: Pivoting the Focus from Savings to Increased Outputs’ and featured a presentation from Philippe Benoit from Global infrastructure Advisory Services 2050 and Columbia University’s Center on Global Energy Policy, and Joeri De Wit, an Energy Economist at the World Bank. A rich presentation of an innovative impact assessment approach was followed by reflections and reactions from a panel of experts including Amandine Gal from Econoler, Melanie Slade from the International Energy Agency (IEA) and Shingle Sebastien from SELCO foundation.
