AUSTRALIA – Charles Xu
"His recent interests include evaluating and analysing sustainable energy development from a whole-of-market perspective, looking into dynamics at both supply and demand sides, and interactions between the incumbent and disruptive forces."
Charles Xu has been developing and implementing sustainable energy evaluation tasks for 10 years. He has managed the implementation of arguably the first formal Evaluation Measurement & Verification (EM&V) program for energy efficiency programs in the Australian public sector. It involved large data samples, scientifically rigours analysis and control groups.
Charles believes science-based energy evaluation plays a unique role in informing policy, supporting a sustainable transformation of our energy system, and facilitating a most economically efficient and socially equitable transit of our society into a clean energy future.
